BLANCHE D. PRICE PARK

Tobyhanna Township is fortunate to have a beautiful park located in Pocono Pines, off of State Avenue. The park offers picnic areas as well as a well-equipped playground. There are ball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts. The Main Lodge Building is located in the park and is popular to Township residents for rental in the summer.

The building may be rented at the cost of $225 with a $100 refundable deposit for any Friday, Saturday or Sunday and a rental fee of $50.00 with a $100 deposit for any Monday through Thursday. You must bring proof of residency and register at the Township office any Monday through Friday between 8:00 and 4:30 PM.

Monroe County Recreation will offer a Children’s Summer Recreation Program for 6 weeks from June 25th through Aug 3rd between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the Main Lodge. For further information, you may contact them at (570) 992-4343.

2008 Pool Registration

The Township Pool is scheduled to open Saturday, June 14, 2008. Registration is held on the dates listed below

Each Member must appear in Person and have a Photo ID taken!

REGISTRATION DATES:

  • FRI., JUNE 13 - 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • SAT., JUNE 14 - 9:00 AM – Noon
  • MON., JUNE 16 -10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • FRI., JUNE 20 -10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • SAT., JUNE 21- 9:00 AM – Noon
  • FRI., JUNE 27-10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE ABOVE TIMES ONLY. Anyone who cannot register on these dates will have to schedule an appointment and pay an additional $5 PER PERSON for their membership.

A new policy is also in place for guests. A member must accompany their guest(s) and buy a wristband for each, which must be worn at all times when in the pool area.

Notice - A family is considered immediate family only; husband, wife, son/daughter, legal guardian.
POOL MEMBERSHIP IS PER FAMILY NOT PER HOUSEHOLD.

The following information is what you will need to bring when registering and a copy of the proof, (Tax bill, lease agreement, current month's PPL bill with physical address are acceptable) must be submitted at the time of registration. Pool Application
