The Special Meeting was held at the Tobyhanna Township Government Center Building, State Avenue, Pocono Pines, PA. The meeting commenced with the Pledge of Allegiance at 8:07 am.

Motion was made by Mr. Keener and seconded by Ms. Pickard to approve Resolution 2009-013 authorizing the PENNVEST Grant Application for Caughbaugh Road. The Board voted unanimously to authorize the application.

Motion was made by Ms. Pickard and seconded by Mr. Keener to approve Resolution 2009-014 authorizing Heidi A. Pickard and John E. Kerrick to utilize the electronic access to PENNDOT Systems. The Board voted unanimously to authorize the electronic access.

Motion was made by Ms. Pickard and seconded by Mr. Keener to approve Resolution 2009-015 authorizing the use of lands and park for recreational purposes necessary to apply for tax exemption on the recent Creekview Open Space Acquisition. The Board voted unanimously to approve the resolution.

The Board approved the authorization of $25,000.00 from the Contingency Reserve Fund to repair one pipe on Stoney Hollow Road for an emergency repair. Motion made by Ms. Pickard and seconded by Mr. Keener. The vote was unanimous.

The Board discussed the 911 meeting with Arrowhead Lakes and the Monroe County and Lackawanna County Control centers, the status of the pool study and opening as well as current legal cases regarding recreational cabins.

The Special Meeting adjourned at approximately 8:30am.
